This course will provide an in-depth look at the various applications for cost segregation and is designed for tax, accounting, and other professionals serving the real estate markets who are familiar with the basics of cost segregation and are looking for a better understanding of where it applies and how it can be used, beyond newly constructed and acquired properties. In addition to discussing the common applications, instructors will provide details on using cost seg with building design, renovations and redevelopment, tenant improvements and on a retroactive basis. Attendees will learn how to use cost segregation as a true asset management tool throughout the life of a real estate asset and will be able to help clients maximize benefits and value from a study.
