This course combines two of Bedford’s most popular CPE sessions; providing both and introduction to cost segregation, as well as some more advanced planning ideas. The presentation begins by providing a solid understanding of cost segregation and the benefits of applying this strategy. The instructor then discusses the various applications for cost segregation, beyond newly constructed and newly acquired properties. The course concludes with an overview of what the IRS is looking for in a cost segregation study.
